One of the greatest milestones in the field of technology is the invention of computers. With the upcoming of this electronic gadget storage of information or data as well as communication has become more simple and effortless. In the earlier days floppy disks were used to transfer data from one computer to other. As the disk space of the device became insufficient due to the increasing demand of human, it was replaced by USB flash drives, which were much smaller and have higher capacity than the floppy disks. Moreover these are much faster than the normal Serial ports. A technology known as usb flash memory is incorporated into this storage device which makes its function more efficient and user-friendly. In usb flash memory, USB is the acronym for Universal Serial Bus and the term Flash Memory indicates that the memory is non-volatile which means that the memory is permanent and there will not be any loss of data due to power failure. This does not mean that it is non-rewritable. The data can be erased by passage of current. This property of the device is exploited and hence is used wildly in many firms, thus making their data storage procedure easier.
